We are offering a 4 week pastel en plein class on Tuesday evenings from 6-8pm. The dates are July 11th, 18th, 25th and August 1st. I am planning on holding all classes at Mendon Ponds. The cost for this class is $165. 

This is a good class for people who are relatively new to pastels or are in need of a refresher. If you are already comfortable with the medium, I am happy to have you join and I will offer as much constructive conversation as possible. 

You will need an easel, a drawing board, pastel paper, pastels, tape. I would also advise a hat (no sunglasses, please), bug spray, gloves or baby wipes. The pastel paper should ideally have a grit and we will work on 8x10 or 9x12 sheets. Let me know if you have any questions about the paper. 

I like to keep things simple and streamline. I start right at 6pm, I will do a quick demo to start each class to get you started and then work with everyone individually during the rest of the class time. The intent for each session is to get enough information down on your paper so that if any finishing touches are needed, you can do that at home or in your studio.
